Bentos Galore!!!

What are Bentos? Bentos are Korean/Japanese (usually) lunch boxes.
What's so special about them? Nothing in particular, they're just the new big thing. They sometimes come pre-sectioned for people who want to plan out their meals and they come in all different shapes and sizes.
What do you put in a Bento? Honestly, you can put in anything that you want. Usually, the intent is to put in something healthy.

Alright, enough Q&A. Here's the basic on Bentos. They're adorable lunchboxes that Americans have become obsessed with. They can help you control your intake on food and even lose weight, which is Why I love them. I love to put in traditional (with my own twist, of course) Korean and Japanese food in them, like homemade Bulgogi or Unakyu (don't knock it 'till you've tried it!).
Now, of course I'm going to tell you where to buy these AH-MAZING contraptions. (= A great site is Bento and Co.(s/n::: there is a "change to english" button in the top right-hand corner) which sells all types. You can get the more designer types for yourself or spouse or even a friend, or the more cute ones for your kids. Now, if you're on a budget, you can always go to Ebay and get brand new Bentos for you buck!
On the topic of what to fill your Bentos with, there's a little place called Just Bento which contains Bento basics recipes, ideas, reasons to switch to Bentos, and more. If these sites don't tickle your fancy, Cute center has an extended list of Bentos and other kawaii things.
Bentos are awesome, cute, and perfect for Kawaii Bawse Nation. ;)

Something old, something new....

So we all those clothes stuck in our closet that we're going to donate....someday....(or never!). You just don't seem to be motivated to clean them out or you just can't let go. So, don't! Transform them into something you'll love again. Browsing the internet for girly things, I found this: Make A Cardi. You literally take one of your old shirts, that may not fit you anymore, and make it into a cardigan. It's a great way to recycle the things in your closet!
Watching DearNaptural85 today, I saw a video of her making many uses for a Maxi Skirt that were so cute and realized half the stuff I own can be transformed somehow(if you want to buy a maxi skirt, Polyvore has really cute ones). Why not? It's a new look and you save money! =D Before you know it, you have a new purse or scarf. You could even watch shows like What Not To Wear to get ideas.
If all else fails, make something not fashion related. Like a sock puppet or teddy(A beautiful mess' sock puppets). Don't waste things and throw them away because you'll regret it soon enough.

Scrapbooking

Really Cute Idea

First of all, I'm a picture junkie. I love taking pictures of myself, my friends, and our moments. Or just anything that catches my eye. I honestly think everyone should. When you're feeling down, you look back at them and you smile remembering what was and what could be.
On that note, scrap-booking is a wonderful way to record those amazing memories. They allow for captions and doing it with your friends is awesome. I have an in progress one I'm working on with my best friend and this being my senior year, I plan on making another for that. Taking pictures to record those momentous occasions is awesome. Make it fun. If your life sucks then this is even better. Savor and enjoy to the fullest those rare shiny moments. They are gold!

There are a lot of sites to buy cheap scrapbook stuff. Walmart is always great but if you have a little money to spend stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby are great at a good price. You could always Pinterest for cool at home ideas (i.e. Vintage Scrapbooking) or even Twitter (i.e. Scrapbookcom).
If you have any cool scrapbooks you've made, let me know! I'll post mine up to....eventually.
s/n::: Yes, I did take the picture and yes I know I'm no photographer. (=

Song of Awesome

Norah Jones' Chasing Pirates was the song I chose to share. It's soft and beautiful and so random. Enjoy Kawaii Bawse Nation. (=

Dream BIG

Right now, I'm watching Panda and Hedgehog, a Kdrama, and it makes me want to be a patisserie so I can bake wonderful things and have people enjoy it. And we've all had those moments when TV glorifies something so much so that we begin to crave it as if it was our own idea. Usually, I'll pass it off and move on with what my original life plans are, but today I realized that I don't have to. Sure, I don't have to and most likely won't open my own restaurant, but I can still learn to make amazing deserts and share them.
This goes for all dreams anyone has ever dreamed but "reality" kicked in. Don't give up your dream but change it to fit you better. You'll be happier this way and you'll also be fulfilled. So one day I'll make amazing desserts like White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake or Tiramisu Layer Cake and I'll share it with my friends and family, because being a patisserie is my dream and I won't give up on it.
S/n::: I've gotten good reviews on Panda and Hedgehog so I decided to watch it.
